There is no downtime required after the SilkPeel Dermalinfusion and you can return to your daily routine immediately after treatment. However, it is advised to avoid sun exposure for two weeks following your treatment.

When Will I See Results From The SilkPeel Dermalinfusion Treatment?

Most patients have reported immediate results after their SilkPeel Dermalinfusion treatment, however, this is not the case for everyone. Visible results could potentially take weeks for some individuals and is dependent on the skin condition we are treating. Optimal results require a series of treatments as all individual skin needs differ, along with the treatment itself.

What Can I Expect From SilkPeel Dermalinfusion Treatment?

Each treatment begins with cleansing the treatment area to ensure the skin is free of dirt and oils. Once cleansed, the specially designed handheld device is applied to the skin and moves along the treatment area. The SilkPeel handpiece works to exfoliate the outermost layers of the skin, suctioning away dead skin cells while infusing the skin with a specialized solution treatment. This serum then penetrates the dermis to the deep, underlying layers of the skin, delivering vitamins, alpha and beta hydroxy acids, minerals and antioxidants which help increase the effects of the treatment. This treatment is usually completed within 30 minutes and you may resume daily activities immediately.

What Are The Side Effects Associated With The SilkPeel Dermalinfusion?

There have been no reports of major side effects after treatment, however, it is rare that some individuals may experience some redness or irritation from the exfoliation process or ingredients in solutions used.

How Many SilkPeel Dermalinfusion Treatments Will I Need?

Considering all individuals skincare needs differ, so does their treatment plans. Many patients are advised to receive monthly sessions for a series of 4-6 treatments, but more severe conditions like acne require 6-10 sessions spaced out bi-weekly. If someone suffers from severe acne, it is advised to keep treatments ongoing until the issue improves with time.
